When a tooth becomes stuck below the surface of your gums it's referred to as Impacted. the foremost commonly Impacted teeth are wisdom teeth.

1. Since these are the last ones to erupt, they typically don't get enough space or room to emerge or develop normally.
2. Sometimes they grow at the wrong/odd angle which may cause them to become Impacted.
