BASIC PROTOCOLS OF VISITING A DENTIST THAT EVERYONE SHOULD FOLLOW


🔹As a general rule, Whenever we visit our friends, family or neighbors as guests, We make ourselves up to look good.

So is the case with visiting a dentist. Our oral cavity requires a little makeup. Here is the list of BASIC PROTOCOLS BEFORE VISITING A DENTIST.

1. BE ON TIME: Try to reach early to save your and your dentists precious time.

2. DRESS UP: Dress yourself neatly for a good impression.

3. BRUSH AND FLOSS: Brush/Floss your teeth before your oral checkup. (Mandatory)

4. MOUTH WASH: Use any regular mouth wash to avoid bad odor. (Optional)

5.  BE TRUE: Be true to your dentist, Don't hide about any other medical disease (especially contagious), Be true about your financial status because your treatment and protective equipment for cross infection control are planned accordingly.

6. Gather your previous medical/Dental records and take them with you for your and the dentist's convenience.

7. Don't Eat at least an hour before visiting a dentist, especially if you have dental chair side phobia.

8. Stay calm and composed throughout.

9. Do not expect your dentist to do your work for free. 🙊
